Although the film is still in the early stages of production, Florence Pugh has been rumored to play Madonna. The Queen of Pop said, “I don’t know. We haven’t decided yet. Not much is known about the project, except for the fact that Universal Pictures will distribute the film and Eric Roth will write the script. Deadline indicated it wouldn’t be as musical as “Mamma Mia!” , but rather it will present a story like the one seen in “Bohemian Rhapsody”. We can’t wait to see the lead actress in famous Cher costumes.
