Guide to Tech.eu Summit 2022

The first Tech.eu Summit is fast approaching, and with just a few days to go it seemed like a good idea to gather some information to make sure you get the best event experience possible.

Date: Tuesday 17 May 2022

time: Doors will open at 7:30 AM CEST we suggest Arrive no later than 8am CEST To make sure you can enjoy some networking and coffee before the packed program begins with an excellent opening party and killer sessions, rather than waiting outside.

We expect the event day to end around 5:40pm CST.

location: Brussels Fair (official address is Place de Belgique 1-1020 Brussels, but see below for directions)

Online ticket holders: The event will be broadcast live here.

Social media: We’ve used the hashtag #TechEUSummit to communicate about the event, so it would be great if you could use it on your social media channels too!

The Brussels Expo has the most accurate and up-to-date information on how to get to the venue (entry to the Tech.eu Summit will be in Hall 10).

There is ample parking space around the place, but we suggest using public transportation (especially metro, tram or bus) if possible; Traffic in the morning and late afternoon around Brussels can be brutal.

Pro tip: There will be a booth to visit Brussels in the exhibition area, and they will introduce you to Free tickets for public transport To take home or use in the days following the event!

The entrance to the Tech.eu Summit 2022 will be in Hall 10, located on the right hand side when you look at the famous Palais 5 (with the more famous Atomium behind you, in other words).

Bonus: Our friends at Pony are giving all attendees a number of free e-scooter rides; They will be stopped in front of the Brussels fair. You can use the code “EUTECHSUMMIT” in the Pony app to secure two 60-minute rides for free.

First of all, make sure you get your ticket and receive a confirmation email.

There will be signage outside and inside to make sure you find your way, and we have staff that take care of checking you in and keeping your belongings safe in a secure restroom. A team of volunteers will be deployed throughout the halls of the venue throughout the day to ensure a great experience for you, even if it is your first time at the Brussels fair.

Please bring your ticket to the event, as well as a government-issued photo ID. Once again, we suggest access No later than 8:15 a.m. CST To make sure you can fully enjoy the event.

Offline events are a natural place to network, and we have a nice little tool to make things as easy as possible!

There will be networking and calming areas in Hall 10 where many of our sponsors and partners will be exhibiting, as well as a variety of delicious food stalls and coffee + water nooks to make sure you are nourished and hydrated.

Oh, and there will be bonuses from Visit Brussels and Qallo. 😉

There are currently no coronavirus-related measures that would interfere with your “normal” Tech.eu summit experience, but we recommend checking the official government information website.

Please note that it is still necessary to wear a face mask on public transport from the age of 12, and of course there may be certain requirements that apply depending on where you are traveling from. Check the official government website for more information.

If you have any concerns or questions, please contact us.

Our focus this year has been to hold a great summit, so there are no formal side events or parties after planning to attend. However, the weather forecast for next week looks very promising, so take the opportunity to discover the great food scene and nightlife of Brussels if you can.

We humbly suggest checking out the area around Place Saint-GĂ©ry and Place Sainte-Catherine for a guaranteed fun time.

This event wouldn’t even be possible without the help and support of our many sponsors, ecosystem and media partners.

Thank you very much indeed to Google Cloud, Nasdaq, the European Innovation Council and our Gold and Platinum partners.

Lots of love also to Molten Ventures, Scaleway, Target Global, Sastrify, Pony, Isomer Capital, Colendi and VAUBAN for support.
