JoVE announces the return of the Science, Education and Research Innovation Awards to celebrate the achievements of individuals from the scientific and academic communities USA – English USA – American English – American English – American English – English

Cambridge, Massachusetts.And April 14, 2022 /PRNewswire/ – JoVE, the world’s leading producer and provider of science videos, has announced that The JoVE Awards for Science Education and Research Innovation return for 2022. Now in its second year, the Awards aim to support individuals from the scientific and academic communities who take active roles in their institutions to support and accelerate science education and research using video resources. An independent panel of librarians, educators and researchers will select three winners from each of the following categories:

  • 2022 JoVE Educator Innovation Awards
  • 2022 JoVE Innovation Awards for Researchers
  • 2022 JoVE Librarian Innovation Awards

JoVE welcomes applications from individuals who are currently employed by, registered with, or affiliated with an academic institution, corporate government or hospital entity, across all regions and territories.

JoVE accepts applications in the form of short essays from:

  • Educators who have supported learning outcomes and increased student engagement in STEM education through video resources.
  • Librarians who have encouraged the use of video resources to support and accelerate STEM education and research in their institution to advance research and/or teaching in science disciplines.
  • Researchers who have used JoVE videos to conduct research and training or share knowledge outside the physical lab.

JoVE will provide funding, in the form of compensation, for professional development up to 2,000 USD for each winner. This funding can be used to participate in a conference or to enroll in a skill development course that you have completed December 30, 2023.

In addition, JoVE will provide a publishing fee waiver for the 2022 Researcher Innovation Award winners so that they can publish with JoVE for free. To learn more about the awards and how to apply, click here. Entrances are closed at July 18 2022.
