New Travelport + Self-Service suite unlocks productivity and drives travel retail

Travelport, a global technology company that manages reservations for hundreds of thousands of travel suppliers worldwide, today launched the latest product feature release for its next-generation travel retail platform, Travelport+. Automation tools and a new self-service suite, now available on Travelport+, help travelers and the travel retailers they support, create an efficient online shopping and service experience for travelers. Better workflow automation for agents

Travelport’s new self-service tool, Productivity Automator, is designed to help agents work more productively by reducing the amount of manual back-end tasks and calls to suppliers. The automation capabilities offered with Productivity Automator through Travelport+ ultimately allow agents more time to focus on advising travelers and increasing selling opportunities to suppliers. Travelport+ customers using Productivity Automator saw they could save 14 percent of time across their entire team every day.

Greater self-service support for developers and agents

The latest version of the Travelport+ product also offers state-of-the-art self-service tools for agency clients and developers, including the completely redesigned Travelport MyTravelport Developer Portal. Designed with modern travel retailers in mind, the updated portal now offers virtual agent support, smarter knowledge base search and an online community. These customer service and support updates speed up and simplify the Travelport+ digital support journey for developers and agencies that use Travelport.

Expanded content and more options for everyone

Travelport has continued to develop its content to help agency customers offer more choices with Travelport+, with new additions including paid seats and baggage opportunities with over 14 new airlines. The company has signed NDC deals with 19 airlines worldwide and is continually publishing more NDC content, making it accessible to Travelport customers in every region. American Airlines’ NDC content is now available to Travelport+ customers in North America, and Travelport expects NDC content from three additional airlines to be rolled out at NORAM this quarter.
